Wreath Making Workshop - King’s Court, Sunday 5th December, 12 noon to 4pm

Kate and Andrew from Talley Garden Flowers are pleased to host a not-for-profit event making Wreaths. An opportunity to join them outdoors, but undercover at King’s Court to make your own Christmas wreath. This is a free to attend event. Come along with your greenery, snips and any decorations you want to use. If you haven’t got any don’t worry, there will be plenty to share (we hope). They will also have available to purchase, at cost price, wreath bases and decorative elements, e.g., ribbons, cinnamon sticks, dried flowers, pampas grass, pinecones etc. We aim to make as much as possible using locally or Fairtrade sourced, compostable or recyclable materials. You can even keep your wreath base for next year. In about an hour Kate will help you to turn it into a beautiful wreath for your door. You do not need to book just turn up, the event will follow current Covid safety guidelines. They are hoping to have refreshments available for charitable donations. If anyone is scarifying lawns or trimming evergreens from now onwards, you are more than welcome to bring your moss or clippings along to King’s Court. If you can’t make this event we will be selling wreaths and other Christmas items from the drive and at Talley Christmas Trees from the end of November.

Talley Christmas Trees

We will be opening our doors at the village Smithy again on Saturday 27th November, offering locally grown Christmas Trees and other Christmassy items, on the weekends to start with then weekdays as we get closer to Christmas. Opening times are 9am to 4pm.
