Thankyou on behalf of Tools For Self Reliance (Cymru)

Hi all,  a big thankyou  to all those who gave so generously all those old rusty tools from the back of your sheds. Looks like we have got a whole van full to take!

I can now take them to a Llanelli site which is a good deal closer than previously taking them to Crickhowel.

They will now find their way to Tanzania for a new life , where they will be put to good use by those needing a tool or two to run a little business or subsistance farm a plot of land .

But before they go they will get a clean and a  sharpen so they arrive ready to use .

We also have  at least 7 old Singer sowing machines to take too which will be greatly appreciated .  Amazing those Victorian machines at 100 years old and still working and finding a use . a lesson in good use of materials , building it with longevity in mind and yes you can mend it !.

If you still have any old hand tools you would like to pass on to make a difference in some ones life you can get in touch with me on

Diolch  Talley & Cwmdu !

for more info on Tools for Self Reliance check out their website.

Could you work without tools ?    Neither can they .
