Tally & Cwmdu Smallholders

On 20th July the smallholders had a great social evening visiting a members off grid property in Rhydcymerau. We toured the batteries, talked water and enjoyed a lovely supper.

Future Plans - Meeting in August TBA.

On September 14th there is a visit for members to the Heritage Orchard in Dinefwr at 6pm. Cider tasting included.

Talley and Cwmdu Smallholders group is open to anyone with an interest in gardening/wildlife/smallholding.  We meet once a month for a visit, talk or demonstration, usually followed by a shared supper.  Check our Facebook page.

Willow Sculpture Workshop

July's Willow Sculpture Workshop was a huge success.  Eight of us were patiently taught and guided through the process of making a willow animal of our choice by Justine Burgess who runs a willow business in Carmarthen.

The day was great fun and we were all pleasantly surprised that by the end of the day our sculptures looked like the animal they were meant to! Thank you Justine for a great day.
